Amherst Gentle Dentistry

I had a root canal done today, and as someone with a lot of anxiety about dental work, I was extremely nervous going into the appointment. From the moment the procedure started, the doctor made me feel safe, relaxed, and reassured. He communicated with me throughout the entire process, explained what he was doing, and was incredibly patient and understanding. It took me a little longer than usual to get fully numb, but he never made me feel rushed. Instead, he offered helpful advice on how I can better prepare before future procedures so the anesthesia works more effectively. That extra guidance really meant a lot to me. I know I’m probably not the easiest dental patient because of my anxiety, but I never felt judged. I truly appreciated his kindness, patience, and professionalism. Thanks to his care, what I expected to be a very stressful experience turned into a positive one. I highly recommend him to anyone, especially if you’re someone who gets nervous about dental procedures.

Dr. Bork is wonderful. He is kind and caring. I don’t feel judged even when he is giving bad news. That makes a difference for someone with great anxiety about seeing a dentist.

What a great job!!! All office staff (front desk and clinical) are super friendly and accommodating. Today I was in for a cleaning with a hygienist. Danielle, she was extremely pleasant and informative, very professional, and an excellent experience!

Update May 13th 2026. My first visit was six months ago,and the second visit was no different than the first visit.Five stars no notes :-). Fast, friendly and professional. Would highly recommend Dr Bork has A wonderful staff. Got me in and out quickly, but it never felt rushed. They made the whole experience easy and comfortable from start to finish

Great experience. Super personable staff. Best part for me was hands down their want to educate and equip clients to have healthy dental hygiene. My first real experience of a dentist staff that painted hygiene in a non overwhelming manner that still encouraged me to be aware of potential pitfalls while recommending ways to keep my teeth clean! Highly recommend!

I hadn’t been to the dentist for years because of my fear of dental visits, but everyone there made me feel comfortable. My teeth need a deep cleaning, and they scheduled my next appointment within a reasonable time. I’m looking forward to getting my teeth cleaned—thank you!
