Dawson Family Dentistry

One of the best dental places I have ever been to. Everyone was attentive and nice. Prompt but thorough service. Very good at explaining in detail aftercare instructions.

The people at Dawson dentistry are always very kind. Very thorough and willing to answer any questions. I found out that Dawson is out of network for me, but it doesn’t matter. I will continue to go even if I have to pay out-of-pocket.

I have no dental insurance, but I get x-rayed every visit, despite having no tooth issues. My opinion is that they do this to get extra money. On my last visit for what should have been a routine tooth cleaning, I asked not to be x-rayed, but they insisted I get it done by this fancy almost MRI machine for your skull. It wasn’t until I was checking out that they revealed the cost of that was north of $600. If you go here, and have no issues, be ready to deny extra services or at least ask the cost before they do it. The staff is nice, the dentists are friendly and skilled, but I get the impression the hygienists are pressured to sell more services. I’ve used them for years, but this kind of broke my trust.

I have never had a bad experience. Appointments are always on time. Staff are very personable and explain what they are doing. Dr. Dawson is very thorough and has a great personality. I give them a 10 out of 10.

Have used Dawson dentistry for years. Dr Dawson has been my dentist and to be frank, he is not the best in communicating with me. This past visit he was not working that day. My exam was provided by Dr Bradford. This young lady was amazing, she sat down discussed my dental history, gave me tips on how to improve it, addressed my concerns along with a check of possible problems. I have never been treated so nicely and efficient in the past. I asked if I could see her in the future and she said yes, this changed my whole out look in going to the dentist. Unfortunately things changed as I checked out. The lady scheduled my next appt. And then informed me that as of May 31 they would no longer accept my insurance. No reason was given, I called my provider to find out why Dawson was no longer in network, it was Dawson that had made the request. It is very disheartening to finally find someone who cares, gives great service, only to find that you have been cancelled.

my Dentist experience is absolutely wonderful. I’ve been a patient there for over 35 years. I have never missed an appointment. I come every six months. Then at checkout, they tell me they cannot schedule me in six months that they can only schedule out for one year. I think this is absolutely ridiculous. Not sure why the office is so short staffed, but something needs to be figured out or you’re going to be losing an awful lot of patients. I’m still not sure what I’m going to do because I do not want to leave the practice because I’ve always loved it. But I also want to keep my teeth, clean and healthy as well.

What a beautiful experience from start to finish, the girls at the front desk are so compassionate and helpful… Doctor Dawson and his dental assistant made sure I was comfortable and in as less pain as possible throughout the entire process.
