Pearl Dental Care of Florence

I've unfortunately had to change my dentist several times in the last few years due to them dropping my employer's insurance. I found another that I used several times before this one, but just never felt comfortable there from the moment I walked in on day one. I gave them a couple of chances, but my last visit with them was a deal breaker. I decided to give Pearl a chance, and so far I'm glad I did. Although I was already a bit anxious coming in, that quickly changed. Logan, my hygenist, was one of the best, if not THE best I've ever had - doing the xrays, checking my gums, and cleaning my teeth. All of it was pain free, which is extremely unusual - especially when checking my gums. I didn't realize it could be done without pain as so many of my previous checks were very uncomfortable. He was friendly, socialable, and polite/courteous. Dr. Earl then came in to have a chat and take a look. He took his time, explained everything in detail in a very polite and non-aggressive manner, and made suggestions on how best to move forward with my care. I never once felt pressured, bullied, or forced to get any unneccessary procedures. When leaving , I felt comfortable scheduling an appointment to do something beyond a cleaning. Not looking forward ot it, but also not dreading it. Update: My 'beyond cleaning' appointment on 8/28/2026 was to replace a very old metal filling, as it was starting to go rogue. I didn't know what would be involved, but decided NOT to postpone it out of fear (lol) and just get it over with. Once again, everything was explained in great detail, and the entire procedure was pain free! I was numbed enough to not feel the 2 shots, and didn't feel any pain during the drilling out of the old filling, or applying the new one. Great job!! :)

I cannot say enough about how caring and thorough everyone at this office is. I called this morning in extreme pain and they were able to get me in the same day and provided options to finally get some relief. Everyone from the front desk, to the hygienist, to the dentist went above and beyond not only explaining my options in detail, but also providing a level of compassion and understanding that isn’t common in medical offices these days. Thank you again!

We had an excellent experience at this dental office today. They were kind enough to see us the same day, even though their schedule was very full, and we are so grateful. The doctor was very experienced, patient, and took the time to explain the problem in detail. He answered all of our questions and gave us different treatment options without making us feel rushed. Everyone in the office was kind, gentle, and compassionate. They went above and beyond to help us and relieve the pain we were dealing with. We truly appreciate their outstanding care and highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a caring and professional dentist.

Dr.Earl and his staff are always 100% fantastic! I would recommend and have recommended them to anyone and everyone! Dr. Earl explains everything he is doing so you understand and makes sure you are comfortable the whole time. His assistants are wonderful and do a great job. Logan and Bethany assisted me today and both were great!! 10 out of 10 all around!!

I have never loved going to the dentist more! From the front desk, to the hygienist, to the dentist himself. Everyone there is AMAZING! Very professional, very clean, and they explain every step of the way. Idc if they moved to another state… I would follow them! They are just that great! Very thankful I found them, and will never seek any other office. They are stuck with me for a lifetime at this point(:

This place rocks. Dr was very nice and personable. He explained what he was doing and communicated next steps well. My hygienist was fantastic as well. Very friendly and took great care of me. I was in and out in under an hour. 10/10

Being new to the area we were looking for a dentist. Dr. Earl and his staff were recommended to us. Both my wife and I have now been there to receive dental care and we are both happy with the service we received. They are a very knowledgeable, professional and friendly team and we would highly recommend them if you are in need of dental care.

First, I wish I could give them a million stars! The service here was absolutely incredible. Christi was kind enough to fit me in at the last minute and provided exceptional care from start to finish. I have a severe fear of the dentist, but Dr. Earl and Olivia went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and at ease the entire time. Dr. Earl walked me through every step of my root canal, explaining everything in detail so I always knew what was happening. They also presented me with options in a way that felt supportive and pressure-free, which truly meant a lot. Thank you to everyone at Pearl Dental Care — you are truly a gem!
