Renken Dentistry of Georgetown

I have been going to Renken in Georgetown for 6 years with good experiences. When I went I. June 2026 I was told I had multiple cavities and needed 5 crowns This was after a visit 6 months prior that I was told all was great except one tooth to watch. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and was told I had no cavities and just needed one crown. This was just the beginning of my pain. I got a bill in July for $130 as my insurance had declined the charges for the my second visi for thr year. I immediately called the insurance company and they said they made an error and put the claim to be reprocessed. I informed the billing department and told them the insurance company said it may be a few weeks. I keep checking and communicating with the Renken billing department. It was paid on sept 1st by insurance in full. I got collections letter on September 5th. I have never paid late ever and this was the treatment I received when they knew was an insurance issue.

Began seeing these guys regularly after moving to Georgetown last year and have continued seeing them since moving back to Round Rock. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, the staff are skilled and professional, and I haven't had any problems. When I first came in, I had a number of issues after years without seeing a dentist. They walked me through what my options were and how much each would cost, and explained how much my insurance would cover. Very satisfied with the service I received and plan to keep going there for my dental needs in the foreseeable future.

Dr. Lira was terrific! Getting a new Crown is not my favorite thing to do, but there was no pain. Dr. Lira and her assistant Brittany were a great team to get the job done. Thanks ladies!

They are now our family dentist! Dr. Lira is so kind and friendly and takes time to explain everything. All the staff are super nice and professional.

I had a horrible experience at Aspen Dental a few months ago and decided I needed a second opinion. I came here after being recommended by a few people in the community. I’m so glad I listened! best decision ever! And I’m saving over $5k out of pocket - yup, that’s what Aspen Dental quoted. Come here instead. Great service & they are reasonable.

The staff is friendly and welcoming along with being very professional. Procedures were well explained and screening was done efficiently. The dentist was very straightforward and clear in her explanation of the treatment plan we discussed and I understood what the path was beyond this initial visit. I recommend Renken Dentistry as a great local resource.

I went in for a dental cleaning. I have the Renken Denistry insurance. I am 80 years old and have no dental problems currently. After the cleaning the Dentist examined my teeth and came up with a multitude of needs to the tune of $20,490 but with the Renken insurance it was only $13,374. I have tried to cancel the monthly Insurance premium but I was told it could not be done untill the end of the year. Be very careful of this dental practice as I feel they try to take advantage of older patients.

Renken has proven time and time again to be the gold standard for dentistry. They genuinely care about their patients. I no longer live in the immediate area and wasn't able to get an appointment right away, but Dr. Lira and her team went far beyond my expectations to help me out until my visit. They are truly the best office I’ve ever been to. Even when I’ve seen other dentists closer to home, they always compliment the incredible work Dr. Lira did on my bridge. I'm just so grateful to have found them.
