Pearl Dental Culver City

I'm 47. I haven't been to the dentist in years. My teeth are in good shape and I take good care of them. Which means it was time for the universe to hand me a nasty concussion and a dental emergency. Not only did Pearl Dental fit me in right away, I'm pretty sure they saved me from having to do a root canal and get a crown. They scanned my broken tooth, made a porcelain replacement, cemented it in -- and over the last several weeks they've painstakingly been adjusting the contours of this "new" tooth so that my bite feels correct, and eases the pressure when chewing on that side. My tooth is slowly healing and, fingers crossed, it all works out. Whether or not I have to deal with an inflamed nerve later down the line, they did the absolute best they could with a bad situation. The entire team is friendly, looks you in the eye when taking, and it truly feels like they care about you having a great outcome. They are highly organized. and I really appreciate their attention to detail. High recommend.

I love Pearl Dental! The office is modern, spotless, and equipped with impressive technology that makes the experience feel comfortable, high tech, and efficient. Dr. Avrita was knowledgeable and took the time to explain my X-rays, photos, and overall dental health in a way that was easy to understand. Hygienist Lupe was gentle and thorough with my cleaning and Kailey made the X-ray process smooth. I was pleased with my husbands experience here that I became a new patient as well. I booked an urgent visit with Pearl and they were able to get me in the same day to see Dr. Nick which I really appreciated. I was referred by a friend and I came in for pain related to a filling that was done by a different dental group. Dr Nick walked me through a clear treatment plan and was so patient with me and thorough in his exam. He spent extra time with me to answer all of my questions and made me feel completely at ease. Lupe, the dental hygienist, did my cleaning and was wonderful as well. She was super thorough and kind. Emelyn at the front desk was also incredibly nice and took the time to clearly explain questions I had related to my dental insurance. Overall, the office is great and the entire staff was very friendly. Would highly recommend Dr Nick.

The technology and interior of this dental office is incredible. But if you value transparency and don’t want hidden charges do not go to this office. After communicating and billing a price for a service, Pearl waited to months to increase the price after I paid. The bill was satisfied and then they raised it to approximately $1000. They then sent the bill to collections. It felt like a scam.

This may be my best experience ever with a dentist! Had my first visit recently and was so impressed by the care and service all around. Dr. Nick Zhang is very kind, considerate, thoughtful, and thorough. I never feel rushed, and he really takes time to explain things. The staff goes out of their way for my comfort and really makes the visit as pleasant as a dentist visit could possibly be. The office space is super nice with big screen TVs to watch, too. Highly recommend.
