Maricopa Family Dentistry and Orthodontics

Did a Google review already. Just moved here and found them. Great office, kind,friendly and professional staff. Did great work completing another Doc's treatment plan. Dr Zinn is a perfectionist and hits the mark.

I would not recommend Maricopa Family Dentistry & Orthodontics based on my family's experience. My daughter and I both went in for routine cleanings. The hygienist was friendly, but both cleanings were much rougher than we've experienced elsewhere. We both left with sore, aching teeth, which isn't what I expect from a routine cleaning. We also wanted braces for my daughter and requested an estimate several times. We followed up with the front office and billing multiple times and were told it would be emailed, but we never received it. The biggest issue was the billing. Before my daughter's fillings, we were told our insurance would cover everything and that our out-of-pocket cost would be $0, so we scheduled the treatment. At checkout, we were told we owed about $180. After I questioned the charge, the front desk realized it was actually an outstanding balance from my son's earlier appointment that hadn't been billed to insurance yet. They confirmed my daughter's treatment had no balance due, just as I had originally been told. Later, after insurance processed, I received another bill for my daughter's treatment. I understand insurance estimates aren't always final, but I had been told there would be no out-of-pocket cost. I left messages asking billing or management to call me so we could review the charges, but no one ever followed up. I was later told they were transitioning to a new billing coordinator, but instead of addressing my concerns, the account was eventually sent to collections. After months of waiting for the orthodontic estimate, we went to Maricopa Kids' Dentists & Orthodontics instead. They gave us an estimate the same day, clearly explained the treatment plan, offered great financing, and were actually more affordable. We started my daughter's braces right away. Ironically, after she had already begun treatment elsewhere, a month later Maricopa Family Dentistry & Orthodontics called asking if we were ready to schedule even though they had never provided the estimate we had repeatedly requested. The staff we interacted with were friendly, but the rough cleanings, poor communication, lack of follow-up, and confusing billing process made for a very frustrating experience. Based on everything we went through, I can't recommend Maricopa Family Dentistry & Orthodontics.

.This is the worst dental office I have ever dealt with. They were unwilling to work with me when I had an unexpected work-related emergency and needed to reschedule my appointment. I was required to travel out of town for an urgent situation and was only able to provide 24 hours' notice. When I called to cancel and explained the circumstances, I was informed that their policy requires 48 hours' notice for cancellations and that I would be charged a $50 fee. While I understand the importance of office policies, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and understanding for a genuine emergency situation. Customer service and compassion should be considered when handling unforeseen circumstances.

I’ve always been absolutely terrified of the dentist due to childhood experiences with cavities, so walking into any dental office is not easy for me. But Dr. Zin and her assistant Kathy completely changed that experience for me, they are truly the perfect duo. I had to get a root canal done, and they both went above and beyond to keep me calm the entire time. They made me feel safe, heard, and never once dismissed my anxiety. Instead, they were patient, gentle, and genuinely caring, which meant everything to me. I even had to bring my infant with me, which could have made things so much more stressful, but Dr. Zin handled it like a pro. She was literally rocking my baby in the stroller while doing my root canal! That level of care and compassion is something you just don’t find everywhere. The front desk team is also amazing, so welcoming and kind. A special shoutout to Amanda, who was absolutely fabulous and made everything run smoothly. If you’re someone who feels anxious about the dentist, I truly cannot recommend this office enough.

Dr. Zins! Thank you for your immediate help! This dentist office is amazing caring and compassionate. I had been dealing with a tooth ache since last Tuesday. When I called, I explained my symptoms and was seen that very same day. Getting out of pain was our goal. Dr. Zins was quick and listened to my worries. Thank you so much! Thank you to the office as well you are all amazing!

19.00 cleaning, X-ray and exam WOW. The X-ray technician and hygienist were wonderful and did a great job. The exam with the Dr didn't address my tooth ache but found I needed to replace a filling. Got a second opinion today and my tooth issue has been addressed and I don't need the filling replaced. Hmmmm. They also pushed their dental plan. Not interested in returning again.

Highly recommend!! Dr Ross has changed my life for the better!!! Incredibly patient with me!!! He has given me life changing results with my all on 6!! I was awake for the entire process and cried about it before hand not knowing what to expect! Extremely gentle and little to zero pain the day after!!! I still have two more sets of temporary to get through until I get my permanents but thus far he has done an outstanding job!!!!! If you’re looking for life changing results he is the dentist for you❤️❤️❤️
