North Salt Lake Dental

Had my Invisalign consultation at North Salt Lake Dental yesterday and left really impressed. The doctor took the time to walk me through the whole treatment plan and actually explained things clearly instead of rushing through it, which I appreciated. The assistants were friendly and helpful the entire visit, answering my random questions. Upfront about pricing, no vague numbers or surprise fees, just a clear breakdown so I know exactly what to expect!

My dental journey has been rough. My previous dentist always seemed to be trying to upsell me during every visit, so I decided to give North Salt Lake Dental a try. So far, I've had a great experience with the staff, the dental assistants, and the dentist himself. Everyone communicates clearly, and they were able to get me in quickly when I was in pain. I have a couple of treatments lined up, and I'm happy to make them my regular dental office from now on.

I was a new patient here a month ago and came in for an evaluation. I don’t have insurance and haven’t seen a dentist in years so I was really nervous and self conscious, but when I set the appointment the receptionist who I spoke with was so kind and made me feel welcome and comfortable! When I went in for my first appointment I had Abby as my hygienist and she was amazing! Again, I didn’t feel judged or uncomfortable at all. She told me about a product she loves and highly recommends, called a Waterpik, and I actually went home and ordered one that night (which I’m now obsessed with!). I met with Dr. Thorup and he was just awesome! He’s so friendly and really explains things in a way that I, again, don’t feel judged or embarrassed to hear. I had another appointment yesterday to get some fillings and I left feeling so happy with how my teeth look and feel now! Dr. Thorup even reached out later to ask me how I was feeling. I’m truly happy with both visits here and am so relieved and happy I’ve found a dentist (and staff) that I can trust and feel comfortable returning to! :)

Just moved to the area and found the perfect place. Very friendly staff, very thorough throughout my visit & cleaning. The staff explained everything and showed me things about my exam that no other office has before.

Highly recommend North Salt Lake Dental!! After moving a lot the past few years, I’ve been to many different dentists and North Salt Lake Dental is by far the best. The team is so professional and efficient, I feel cared for and not like they are trying to upsell me or get me to agree to unnecessary procedures or add ons.

I’ve had an excellent experience with North Salt Lake Dental! I initially moved there because the previous doc was a family friend. When he moved I considered switching again, but decided not to because I enjoyed the staff. Glad I didn’t because Dr Thorup has been so great! He’s so kind and personable and I can tell he’s a proactive and honest dentist. I will definitely be recommending to people!

I had my teeth cleaned and assessed at the North Salt Lake dental and they did a fabulous job. Abby the hygienist was very thorough and the girl who did the x-rays was wonderful also. They were efficient and quick and very friendly. Dr. Thorup is always very attentive and willing to answer any question. I recommend them highly!
