Pure Dentistry Rocklin

Pure Dentistry, Dr. Slate, Camille his Dental Assistant were absolutely the best on 7/1/26! I had a molar needing a crown and a veneer that came loose, Dr. Slate is a master Dentist from the start. If you don’t have much of a pain tolerance Dr. Slate is the best at distracting you away from being nervous. Camille applies a topical anesthesia before Dr. Slate administered the Novocain with only a little pinch. Dr. Slate’s office has many other options for his patients if you are dealing dental fears, but I don’t need any of these options since Dr. Slate is so kind and gentle. He explains what you can expect to feel through the whole process, but I never feel any pain. The office staff are genuinely kind people as well. Hello to Rachel another favorite Dental Assistant for past procedures with excellent results. I’ve been going to Pure Dentistry since September 2020 and have always had very positive dental experiences. I’m so glad I switched to Pure Dentistry when I did.

I've been going to Pure Dentistry for a while now, and every visit has been a great experience. From my Invisalign treatment to my routine cleanings and amazing dental work, the entire team has always been kind, professional, and genuinely caring. I had a lot of dental problems growing up and have always been anxious about going to the dentist until I found Pure Dentistry. At my most recent visit, I was especially nervous because I'm currently pregnant after a long journey to get here. I've also been dealing with bleeding gums and had to cancel my previous cleaning because of severe morning sickness. Everyone at the office was so understanding and accommodating. I especially wanted to thank Angie, my hygienist at my last visit. She was incredibly gentle, patient, and thorough throughout my cleaning. She constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable, and I never once felt rushed or uncomfortable. It was such a different experience from some of my past dental cleanings at other offices, where they felt rough and painful. Before I left, Dr. Christian even stopped by just to congratulate me on my pregnancy and say hello. After living in Los Angeles, where dental offices often felt rushed and impersonal, it's been such a blessing to find a practice here in Rocklin where I felt so cared about as a patient. I can't recommend this dental office enough, especially to anyone who's nervous about going to the dentist or to expecting moms. I already know this will be the dental office my son will come to when his little teeth start coming in!

I'm pretty new to Pure Dentistry, and honestly, when my wife scheduled my first appointment, I was pretty nervous because of some bad experiences I'd had at other dental offices in the past. From the moment I walked in, the front office was super welcoming, and the back office staff were just as friendly and reassuring. I've been lucky enough to be treated by Dr. Slate and Dr. Christian, and both were amazing. I also had appointments with the hygienists, Noel and Ashley, who really helped ease my dental anxiety and made the whole experience much less stressful. Now that I've finished all my treatment, I can honestly say I'm glad I found Pure Dentistry. I've already recommended them to my friends and family. Thanks so much to the entire team! 😊

I just got wisdom teeth surgery yesterday, and I just wanted to how amazing my experience. It all started with Celine she has amazing communication and answered any question I had. Dr Powell did my surgery and this was the best experience I ever had a dental office. He was very thorough and explained why I needed my wisdom teeth pulled. I wish. I could rate more than 5 stars. Please don’t let those two go! I will be getting my dental work from now on at Pure Dentistry.

Absolutely love this dentist office! The front office ladies are so friendly and helpful! The dental assistants are always amazing too! Dr. Christian is my go to guy! He's been amazing getting my mouth back on track after postpartum messed it up! Definitely recommend!

Very nice dental office and wonderful staff! I looked on our dental insurance website for dentists in our area and narrowed down my search to a couple, with Dr. Slate being one of them. Decided to ask my orthodontist's office (Dunn Orthodontics is awesome, FYI) if they had recommendations for a good dentist, since I had such an amazing experience with our Invisalign journey. Lo and behold, they gave me 2 names and Dr. Slate was one of them! I took that as a sign that Pure Dentistry was where I should go. Setting up an appointment was convenient. Location was easy to find. Parking wasn't too bad. (Just be aware Rocklin Academy is close by and pick up/drop off time might be tricky getting in and out) Met Rachel, the dental assistant who did a bunch of X-rays and was so sweet, warm and friendly. Then I met Dr. Slate, who is also extremely friendly and likable. Gotta love people who are skilled at their profession but also have engaging personalities and are fun to talk to also! He shared a funny story about trying to get a coveted chocolate chip recipe from my orthodontist's wife, which was funny to envision. Then it was time for my cleaning. Met dental hygienist Victoria, who was fun to chat with. TBH, the dental cleaning was a bit rough. I guess that's what I get for not going to the dentist for so many years. I could feel myself tensing up while she was scraping away tartar and then checking/poking my gums. Victoria even told me that I might have a bit of a headache later that day because she really went at it. She suggested ibuprofen. I think I kinda laughed it off because I don't usually get headaches. But man...was she right! I did have a bit of a tension headache later that afternoon. Not sure if it was because the idea was planted in my head (psychologically?!) or if it was from the high-pitched cleaning tools (next time I'll bring ear plugs) or if it was from the more-aggressive teeth cleaning. But at least she warned me about it, lol. Victoria also introduced me to Cocofloss. I had heard about it when we were looking into dental flosses a while back but I had never tried it. She gave me a sample and told me they even had different flavored flosses! Long story short, I think about Victoria and Pure Dentistry every night I'm flossing with my Cocofloss now, lol. We even ordered the different flavored Cocofloss, to make flossing a little more fun each night. So then it was time to leave and Victoria walked me up to the front where I met Celine, another super friendly employee! We chatted and then she gave me some cool Pure Dentistry swag! ^_^ They even had a little fridge with cold water and flavored sparkling water for patients also. It's the little things... While I'm still super nervous and reluctant about going to the dentist and my future visits, I can definitely say that Pure Dentistry alleviates a lot of my fears and they have a topnotch staff and a lovely office. They're great at what they do, make you feel like a valued customer/patient, and give you helpful advice for good dental health. (I'll probably schedule a full body massage after each dental visit in the future, so I can create a positive association between dental visits and relaxation, haha!) Highly recommend Pure Dentistry for people like me who are scared of dentists but also know the importance of dental care! You'll love Dr. Slate and his fantastic staff! :D
