Highly pleased with Pure Holistic Dental. We have few biological dentists in Houston and this group is awesome. Dr Tria, Bill, and Elaine all provided exemplary service and bedside manner. For the first time in a long time I felt I could trust the dental work being administered. Rapid healing and very minor discomfort from an invasive extraction are a welcomed result of Dr Tria’s skill. Bill has a wonderful and knowledgeable manner that engenders calm and confidence in suggested procedures.

I came to Pure Holistic Dental as a second opinion after another dentist tried to pressure me into a root canal at a crazy high price. From the moment I walked in, the difference was night and day. The environment is welcoming, the staff is genuinely friendly (like actual humans, not robots) and nobody pressured me into anything. They have a 3D scan for your teeth that helps catch bigger problems, which I highly recommend. Instead of a root canal, they gave me a better long-term option (extraction + implant) to avoid having a dead tooth rot from the inside, and the price came out to about a third of what the other place quoted me. Three visits in and I’ve never once waited in the waiting room. My deep cleanings were quick, easy, and practically painless. This is my home dentist now and my only regret is not finding them sooner. Highly recommend.

I healed surprisingly well compared to my other experience and didn't even need to use my prescription! I felt heard and supported throughout my treatment. Absolutely do not ignore the numerous negative reviews. While the doctors themselves may be kind, the consistently rude and condescending behavior from the staff makes this place a frustrating and disappointing experience—especially given the premium prices they charge. My last visit, which was the first appointment of the morning, began with a receptionist who acted visibly annoyed just to be there. That set the tone. The day before, I received a text quoting a $250 charge for the visit. This was confusing because I had already paid $600 for their “membership” during my first appointment—something that’s supposed to include two exams, two cleanings, a set of X-rays, and other perks. I called to clarify, and was met with immediate attitude from Britney, who claimed I wasn’t listed as a member, even though I had paid $610 previously. She insisted that charge covered just the one-time services I received: an exam, cleaning, and X-rays. That made no sense, as it would mean I paid the same as the membership but received fewer services. When I pushed for clarification, Britney told me the issue was “above her pay grade” and passed it to the office manager. The manager did call me back, but repeated the same thing. Then, thinking I was on hold, I overheard her and Britney laughing about the situation. I clearly heard the manager say, “Well, I’m just going to backdate her membership—it’s not like we lose out on anything.” Exactly the point I had been making all along. At the appointment itself, the receptionist was again rude. There was no exam—just a rushed cleaning. The dental hygienist got an attitude when I declined to schedule another visit. This entire experience was unprofessional, dismissive, and left me feeling like a nuisance rather than a paying patient. For the prices they charge, patients should be treated with basic respect and transparency—not subjected to condescension and administrative games.
