This dentist’s office has been nothing but problems when it comes to my husband’s routine cleanings. Every time he goes in for a checkup and cleaning, there seems to be an issue with the secondary insurance (mine). Even when I go in for my own cleaning, we somehow run into the same issue with his insurance being listed as my secondary. This time was no different. The dentist apparently refused to proceed with my husband’s cleaning because my insurance wouldn’t cover the remaining portion. My husband told them to simply proceed with a basic cleaning since his primary insurance would cover that, and he just wanted to get his teeth cleaned. We were then told they couldn’t proceed because doing so would be considered “malpractice.” I honestly don’t understand how a basic cleaning that his insurance covers could be refused for that reason. At this point, it’s extremely frustrating. A routine cleaning should not turn into a constant insurance issue, especially when the patient is willing to proceed with the services his insurance does cover. Now he has once again left without getting his teeth cleaned, which could potentially allow tartar buildup to get worse. We’ve had repeated issues with this office, and unfortunately, this experience has left us taking our services/ patient care elsewhere.

Front desk staff knowledgeable and friendly. Dental assistants were only more of the same. The dentist was efficient and straightforward. Fantastic experience so far.

This practice is amazing. Dr Leong is knowledgeable and cares about his patients. The staff is kind, diligent and professional. This place has permanently changed my life in the best way possible with not one but two major dental challenges that I was going through. When all other practices only wanted large sums of money for mediocre work, Desert Valley Dental Group did spectacular life changing work affordably and consistently. You can trust them.

I recently visited this dental office and had a great experience. The environment is clean, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The staff really made a difference, Elena and Rachel were especially kind and helpful throughout the entire visit. They made the process feel easy, smooth, and even enjoyable, which is not something you always expect at the dentist. I truly appreciated their friendliness and professionalism, and I would definitely recommend this office to others.

I would like to share that Desert Valley Dental Group & Orthodontics has treated my family for over a year now. They have always been courteous and honest. My son currently is being treated for braces. My daughter will also be getting braces. I am pleased with the ease of scheduling appointments. I would also like to share that Chanell has been very knowledgeable and helpful. And, of course a big thank you to Dr. Hwang!
