Alexis was my dental hygienist and did an excellent job. She explained everything thoroughly and the entire practice is run very efficiently. Dr. Coulter and Dr. Birch are exceptional and have even helped me with my TMJ issues. As someone who primarily treats TMJ issues myself I would recommend them for their expertise in that area.

My first appointment, Lexi cleaned my teeth better than any cleaning I've ever had. I felt great leaving. I had an issue with a gap in my front teeth I have been working on for 20 something years now. Dr. Coulter fixed it within an hour, he's the man. His assistant Lauren, had the best bedside manner of any medical/dental professional during the process. I couldn't recommend this entire office enough. They offer payment options and provide the best care. 10/10

History behind this review: We have been attending this practice for 4+ years as a family and this practice is literally the best I have ever seen. I saw a few reviews about cost and I would like to address that here as well. This practice has a spectacular facility (tvs in each room and dental massage chairs) and the MOST update to date equipment with the MOST professional team. As you can see there are hundreds and hundreds of positive reviews and thats why. Thank you Coulter Family Dentistry for keeping the bar high on your service and operational practices and for taking care of my family's dental needs.

As a travel nurse, I visit dental offices all over the country, and my experience today at Coulter Family Dentistry was by far the best I’ve ever had. The office was clean, modern, and welcoming. My appointment started on time, and every staff member I encountered was professional, and welcoming. Erika was my hygienist, and she was outstanding! She was personable, explained everything she was doing throughout the appointment, and provided a thorough cleaning. My teeth honestly look better than they have in years. My visit with Dr. Coulter was equally impressive. He was thorough, took the time to answer all of my questions, and never made me feel rushed. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about his patients and the quality of care he provides. I highly recommend Coulter Family Dentistry to anyone looking for exceptional dental care. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

I’m providing this review after several visits for both my husband and me. The staff is professional and friendly. They’ll send you multiple reminders so you aren’t wondering. The office is clean and updated. They have all the latest equipment and treatments available. Dr. Coulter is knowledgeable but approachable and thorough. We don’t have dental insurance, but it’s reasonable for the service and experience, plus they provide a clear treatment plan prior to your decision. I even waited on moving ahead with some things and it wasn’t a problem. Highly recommend especially if you have many sort of dental phobia.

Great experience. We are new patients and decided to move our entire family to this practice after a bad experience elsewhere. The office was clean, professional, and equipped with modern technology. Alexis, my hygienist, was thorough, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job explaining everything she was doing and the tools and technology being used throughout the appointment. After 26 years with the same dentist, I finally made a change, and I am SO glad I did! I had my first visit at Coulter Family Dentistry in Knoxville and absolutely loved the entire experience. The office is modern, spotless, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Everyone was incredibly friendly and professional, which instantly put me at ease. My hygienist (Erica) was amazing. My teeth honestly feel brand new. Even my crowns look whiter and all the staining is completely gone. She was thorough, gentle, and explained everything she was doing along the way. They also took very comprehensive X-rays and imaging, and I could actually see what was going on with my teeth. It was a very detailed and pleasant first experience.
